Global Contracting Mechanisms

CDC Development Solutions holds a number of global contracting mechanisms through the US Agency for International Development, including:

• Global Sustainable Tourism Alliance (GSTA): GSTA is an innovative partnership between 15 organizations that works to advance sustainable tourism development and allied fields.

• Strengthening Health Outcomes Through the Private Sector (SHOPS) LWA: SHOPS will engage the private sector in expanding access to healthcare services.

• Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) LWA: VEGA is a consortium of economic growth-focused nonprofit organizations that utilize volunteers.

• Capable Partners LWA: Capable Partners strengthens the organizational capacity and sustainability of NGOs and coalitions in a range of in developing countries worldwide.

• Prosperity, Livelihoods, and Conserving Ecosystems (PLACE) IQC: PLACE supports livelihoods development, natural resources management, and biodiversity conservation efforts worldwide.

• Global Business, Trade, and Investment (GBTI) IQC: GBTI supports trade and competitiveness for small and medium size enterprises worldwide.

• Rural and Agricultural Incomes with a Sustainable Environment (RAISE) PLUS IQC: RAISE PLUS focuses on environmentally sustainable, market-driven development of livestock, forests, fisheries, tourism, wildlife, and agribusinesses.

• Commercial, Legal, and Institutional Reform (CLIR) IQC: CLIR drives economic growth by promoting the creation of a pro-business legal and regulatory environment in emerging markets.
