CDS President and COO, Deirdre White, will be featured on an upcoming panel discussion focused on responsible procurement.  In CSR Through Responsible Procurement:  A Discussion on Best Practices and Benefits, hosted by the Washington chapter of the Society for International Development, the panelists will describe their responsible procurement programs and the positive effects that they have had on their core business. Panelists will also discuss challenges, best practices, and innovative tools that address critical market, financial, and technical constraints which enable micro, small and medium sized enterprises to integrate their products and services into global supply chains.

The other panelists include Tony DiNicola, Chevron Corporation’s Senior Community Engagement Advisor, Policy Government and Public Affairs Department, and Genevieve Taft, Coca-Cola’s Global Manager for Workplace Accountability.  Holly Wise, President of Wise Solutions and Founding Director of USAID’s Global Development Alliance will moderate.
