Partnering with the MBA Enterprise Corps
Since the MBAEC’s inception in 1990, more than 1000 Advisors have strengthened and supported more than 4,000 enterprises, institutions, associations, government agencies and entrepreneurs in over 35 countries on five continents through the financial support of U.S. government agencies, multi-lateral donor agencies, global consulting firms, multinational corporations and nongovernmental organizations.
The Corps receives funding for MBAEC assignments from a number of partners, including but not limited to:
- US government agencies such as USAID and the US African Development Foundation;
- Multilateral donors such as the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation;
- Multinational corporations such as BP and Goldcorp
- Global NGOs such as the Grassroots Business Fund and Winrock International;
- Development consulting firms such as DAI and Chemonics.
In addition to the funding provided by partner organizations, participating schools contribute the time and expenses of their school representatives and Corps members forgo traditional salaries in service to the Corps.
